Ward was the first daughter born in MonroeLouisiana, on the 15th of April, 1976. She attended a private Christian elementary school known as Monroe Christian School. In secondary educationWard attended Ouachita Parish High School, but she moved in River Oaks High School on the following summer, after her junior year; thereshe was a member of the dance and drill teams. After graduatingshe briefly was a student at Northeast Louisiana University. At the age of thirteen, old, Ward started modeling after leaving school and moving to New York in order to do so. She tried her hand at acting a few years later. Her first role was an uncredited part in 1970's soap opera All My Children, and later was cast in a teen drama on NBC Prime-Time Malibu Shores. She landed the role of Meg Cummings, a virgin on Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999, she began her film career as Brittany Foster the psychotic character in the horror film The In Crowd. Although the movie failed to make money in theatres, it was successful both on DVD and cable TV. In the following year, Ward was in a cameo part in the cult film Shallow Hal. Also, she has appeared in a variety of direct-to-DVD films and made guest appearances on a variety of TV shows, particularly Friends. She was the principal cast member of ABC Family's drama series Make It or Break It for the first two seasons in 2009. She appeared on the show in 2009 and was cast in the role Chloe Kmet as the mother of a gymna who is a teenager. Her personal life includes a union with the producer David C. Robinson. Together, they have one son named Cameron.
